Tim Gilliland, PsyD

As the Program Director for CIS FRP, Dr. Gilliland has over 41 years of experience in health care and human services as both a direct care provider and an administrator of programs and services in Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Hawaii, and California.

For nearly 10 years, Dr. Gilliland has incorporated the new discoveries in neuro-science into his work educating patients, their families and staff on how the brain is significantly involved in the development of the presenting problems as well as the solutions.

Liane Quirk

With over 20 years experience in public health, Liane Quirk is a health educator teaching nutrition, vocation, therapeutic art and mindfulness. She has developed the curriculum which is tailored towards chronic pain patients.

Liane’s classes are interactive, with an element of fun included into each session. She also introduces the principles and benefits of mindfulness by providing strategies and tools that patients can use outside of CIS.

Phil Hixson, MSPT, DPT

Phil Hixson received his Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University Sacramento in 2001. Dr. Hixson went on to complete his Masters of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of the Pacific in 2004.

Having worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton and at Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Hixson has completed multiple orthopedic cervical, thoracic and lumbar long-term courses focusing on spine evaluation and treatment. He has also received certification in Graston technique IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), SFMA (selective functional movement assessment), and McKenzie MDT (Mechanical diagnosis and Therapy).

Andrea Adams, Exercise Physiologist

As a certified Exercise Physiologist through ACSM for the past 20 years, Andrea has worked primarily with Chronic Pain and Functional Restoration Programs in Auburn, Folsom, Roseville and Sacramento. She greatly appreciates the knowledge gained in pre and post rehabilitation while working closely with Physical Therapists in Folsom, South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado Hills.

Andrea is a Cancer Exercise Specialist through ACSM and is certified in Pilates, Water Aerobics and Cardio Kick Boxing. She loves hiking in the Sierras, gardening and the San Francisco Giants!!

Jiho Jason Yoon, L.Ac.

Jason graduated from Dongguk University Los Angeles in 2012. He completed Master Science of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Jason is licensed in California State Acupuncture Board.

He practiced as an acupuncturist in Southern California for four years, and he joined CIS & Boutique Acupuncture in 2016. He practices a holistic, natural approach to health with an emphasis on preventative care.
